To release music through LabelGrid, prepare your audio, artwork, and metadata according to our specifications, then choose from the platforms we currently deliver to. Our system handles ingestion and delivery.

LabelGrid provides the tools you need beyond distribution: catalog management for your metadata and releases, royalty accounting with artist statements and automated royalty splits from the Basic plan up, and promotion tools including smart links and Spotify pre-saves.

Napster is not currently an active LabelGrid delivery destination, so we do not publish Napster delivery specifications. For the platforms we do deliver to, LabelGrid accepts lossless WAV or FLAC masters (MP3 is not accepted as a master) and cover art of at least 3000×3000 px, exactly square, JPG or PNG. Timing varies by platform — submit at least 2 weeks ahead of your release date.
